Monitoring threats, analyzing cyberattacks, and responding to security incidents through SOC operations, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) — while building modern, interactive web applications using the React ecosystem. Cybersecurity student at Horus University, Egypt.
I believe the best engineers understand both how systems are built — and how they can be broken.
I'm Mohamed Saleh, a 20-year-old developer and cybersecurity student at Horus University, Egypt. I work across two complementary fields: Cybersecurity, with a focus on SOC operations and DFIR, and Frontend Development.
On the development side, I build modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript. I use Framer Motion to create smooth, interactive experiences, with a strong focus on clean interfaces, usability, and thoughtful user experience.
On the cybersecurity side, I focus on Security Operations Center practices, including threat detection, log analysis, SIEM workflows, incident response, digital forensics, and DFIR.
This combination of development and security gives me a broader perspective when building, analyzing, and securing digital systems.
Focused on Security Operations Center practices, including threat detection, log analysis, SIEM monitoring, incident response, and digital forensics. I analyze network activity, investigate attack techniques, and apply defensive security principles to detect, contain, and respond to cyber threats.
Building modern, responsive web applications with the React ecosystem. I focus on clean interfaces, smooth animations, strong performance, and interactive user experiences across different devices.
Using AI-powered tools to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, improve problem-solving, and support cybersecurity research and analysis through efficient, intelligent workflows.
Working across the modern JavaScript ecosystem to build scalable applications, integrate REST APIs, manage databases, and maintain clean, efficient development workflows using Git and modern tooling.

Hands-on defensive security practice — from phishing investigations to SIEM log analysis — built through platforms like TryHackMe and LetsDefend alongside university coursework. Detailed writeups are being prepared and will be published here.
✦ Practicing on TryHackMe · LetsDefend · Hack The Box — profile links coming with the first published writeups.
Competing, building, and representing my university at national hackathons and innovation events — where ideas turn into working projects under real deadlines.
Represented Horus University at the First Sustainable Innovation Summit, hosted by Tanta University. Our team secured third place among 20 governmental, private, and national universities from across Egypt. The faculty competed through two tracks — Artificial Intelligence, with the ZeroThreat and BrainFuel projects, and Business Administration.
✦ More hackathons, competitions & events on the way — this list keeps growing.
Open to freelance projects, collaborations, and opportunities. If you have an idea — or just want to connect — I'm one message away.
